Gendlin Festival at the wine tavern

Saturday, October 3rd, approx. 7:00/7:30 pm. We will travel together by bus.

We have decided to follow Viennese tradition this time and move our social gathering to a Heuriger in Vienna.

So, exactly the right thing to bring our special ÖGWG week 2026 in honor of Gendlin to a close.

A colorful buffet of traditional and vegetarian delicacies awaits you – including wine and non-alcoholic drinks (grape juice, lemon soda, raspberry, etc.). And traditional music is an essential part of any Heurigen experience…

We look forward to spending a pleasant evening with you.

Location: Schübel-Auer wine tavern

Kahlenberger Str. 22, 1190 Vienna

Cost: €70 (in addition to the ticket price)

Gendlin Walk

As an introduction to the four-day conference, we offer a walk following Gendlin's childhood traces in Vienna.

The meeting point is at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, September 30th, at the Roßauer Lände U-Bahn station (U4). Directly opposite was the apartment of the Gendelins, who had to flee their homeland under threat of death due to persecution by the Nazi regime. Eugen (Gene) attended elementary and secondary school in this district of Vienna.

We will visit these memorial sites. Afterwards, a reading will take place at the Hotel Regina: an account of his escape written by Gene Gendlin himself in German in 1993 – the English translation will also be available if needed.

The event ends at approximately 4:30 PM.

Brigitte Pelinka and Lore Korbei will guide you through the program.

Free of charge - limited number of participants (registration required).
